Carrie Ellis

For over 20 years I have worked in healthcare recruitment and workforce solutions, holding key leadership positions at renowned organizations such as AMN, Aureus Medical, Medefis and AHSA. As the Executive Vice President of Business Development at Windsor Healthcare Recruitment Group, I lead the efforts to place highly skilled oncology, imaging and therapy professionals, ensuring top-tier talent for radiation therapy, dosimetry, physicists, imaging and therapy roles across healthcare facilities.
I live in the country outside of Omaha, NE with my husband Tony, our youngest son and 4 dogs. I have 2 sons attending KU. I enjoy spending time with my family at the lake or in the mountains of upstate NY.

Tina Unger

With over 12 years of experience in the healthcare staffing industry and more than 25 years in human resources, I am a seasoned leader adept at navigating both start-up and established agencies. My leadership roles have spanned across operations, credentialing, and human resources, where I have successfully guided diverse teams. I firmly believe in the power of surrounding oneself with talented individuals and maintaining a positive outlook.
Outside of work, I cherish time with my husband, our boxer dog, and two adult children—a daughter and a son. I am passionate about home projects, including self-taught building and remodelling. Traveling is another joy of mine, and I look forward to exploring more destinations in the future. I always keep an eye out for teaching moments, much to the amusement of my family.

Wendy Jones

I’m a trained Radiographer with over 20 years of experience at a mid-sized community hospital. While I loved the people and the work, I felt ready for a new challenge and decided to pursue travel tech. Though leaving my work family was tough, the experience of working in different environments and meeting new people was incredibly rewarding. After two years, I returned home to focus on family and sought a role where I could apply my organizational skills and passion for excellent customer service. Joining the WHR family as Compliance Manager has been a perfect fit, allowing me to work alongside a supportive, knowledgeable team in a close-knit, family-oriented environment.
In my personal time, family is my greatest joy. I’m blessed with a 32-year marriage, two wonderful daughters, and four beautiful grandchildren. I enjoy reading crime and mystery fiction, experimenting with new recipes, and exploring my creativity through crafting. My husband and I love traveling, whether it's a quick visit to see family in nearby states or road trips across the country. Our favorite destination is Homer, Alaska, where we have a cozy dry cabin overlooking the stunning Kachemak Bay.

Living in vibrant Southern Alabama, I thrive on the energy of attending and watching all kinds of sporting events. My heart beats for the spirited Mardi Gras traditions of Mobile, where I’m actively involved in the festivities and love to boast that "Mobile started Mardi Gras, not New Orleans!" Life on the Gulf Coast has also given me a passion for incredible cuisine, with seafood taking center stage as my all-time favorite.

For the last 13 years of my life, I worked in the food industry. I have cooked and trained alongside some great people. I felt like I was missing an ingredient and thought it was time for me to try something new. My experiences in the food industry will no doubt help me succeed in recruiting, being able to connect with travelers and helping them find the dream placement (it's kind of like making a good sauce).
I live in the metro of Oklahoma. I have a wife and 2 beautiful daughters. I love watching sports, going to live sporting events, spending time with my 2 rugrats and trying to entertain them. I have been in Heathcare recruiting since August of 2021. Before I got into recruiting, I worked installing countertops and shower bases for a couple years. As I got older my body couldn't handle the physical side of the job anymore. I decided to get out of labor positions and try an office setting. I was given an opportunity to be a healthcare recruiter and took the chance. I realized how much I liked recruiting and speaking with travelers from all over the country. I enjoy getting to know the travelers and building friendships with those I work with.

I was born in California and moved to Omaha NE back in 2001. I met my wife a few years later and have been together ever since. My wife and I love getting out and doing things together when we are not working. We enjoy going to concerts, walking in nature, going to sporting events and spending time with family and friends. We love going to Lake Tahoe and even got married on a cliff over looking the lake.
